Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game but Daphne's hypocrisy drives me mildly insane.

Ganondorf's entire culture has been wiped out. The fortune that befell Hyrule brought nothing but pain to his people instead. When Daphnes says it's time to leave Hyrule in the past, he's correct; but the fact that he also says this about Ganondorf as if his fixation with the triforce/cycle of reincarnation was anywhere near comparable is a showcase of how little effort he's made to understand Ganondorf.

Daphnes was fixated on a kingdom lost to the sea because he used to rule it. Ganondorf was fixated on a kingdom lost to the sea because his people suffered and were ultimately forgotten.

the problem with retexturing 5000 textures by hand is you kinda have to halfass some to get everything done. esp if that texture appears in only one place that you barely visit. but i've been wanting to go back and clean up a few. this is one of them

King Daphnes dressed as King Juleson Yhorumice Hyrule.

Okay so here's the lore: There's not an actual character that the final outfit is referencing. It's most likely supposed to be a Lorule King, but I thought this would be funnier.

I'm now making it a reference to @soulsty's Terminian "King of Hyrule" whose named King Juleson Yhorumice Hyrule. You can see the reference sheet for him in the upper left.

I've been waiting to draw this one since I started this project lol I'll take any excuse to draw Linebeck's fit.

King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule (King of Red Lions) from Hyrule Warriors, dressed as Gonzo from the Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker.

I'm getting better at the anatomy of bigger people. He looks a lot less stiff than last time. But he ended up not as large as I wanted, but I'll correct that in the next drawing I do of him.
