I just realised we (as a fandom) are sleeping on the comedic potential of how terrible Kineema is. I feel like it would mark Kim as a Obnoxious Car Guy more than a Seolite Cop in people's minds (some things are easier to forgive than others)
This is the most ridiculous, not safe for the city streets car on the entire isola. People see it and instantly move out of the way because getting on the path of this monstrosity is probably going to get them smeared over the pavement or blasted into the pale.
RCM work makes Kim go out and come back at weird hours and his neighbours want to murder him. They don't care that he's Seolite, but they didn't have a full night's sleep since Kim got his hands on the car and they can't live like that.
He certainly can't go cruising in it, even if it wasn't for the paint job just the sound alone would make people remember it until the day they die. Imagine waiting for cops because of some crime you reported and you suddenly hear the most abhorrent car noise that you *have heard before* when you were in a gay bar. What do you do in that situation.
If he ever gets involved in Cuno's and/or C's life and takes them to school and stuff, he would be known as The Fucking Car Guy from day one. He would disturb the classes so fucking bad.
Harry has amnesia and Kineema woke him up, so at first he probably doesn't even notice how insufferable it is compared to literally anything else. Anyone else would disconnect the wiring while Kim's asleep out of sheer resentment. Kim is so lucky and he doesn't even realize it.
