Hi. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy both your art and your fanfics. I started reading "Who could ever hurt you" some time ago and currently the last chapter that I read was "Polle says". Your portayal of Anya is probably my favourite one that I've seen. I like how you write her being (very reasonably) anxious and scared, while still giving moments of strength (like how she insults Jimmy in russian or thinks about taking a weapon to the cargo holt). Some people portray her as either very shy victim or in a "girlboss"/"badass" kind of way, but you strike a good Balance imo, writing her as the anxious but still hopeful survivor that she is in the game. Also it's just nice whenever Reader or Daisuke can make her happy despite the entire situation that she's in.

oh, thank you very much! i'm honestly really happy to receive an ask like this and to read such kind words. :) anya is a very near and dear character to me, and i find her anxious and gloomy tendencies relatable, but she's much more than just a victim to me. i think she's really strong in unconventional ways and deeply resilient and persistent; she's incredibly brave for someone in her circumstances and doesn't get nearly enough credit for simply surviving as long as she did. getting to write her in more active roles in my fanfic is a real joy; it's nice to give her a glimmer of hope, and support from another person. it makes me so happy that you enjoyed "who could ever hurt you" so much!! ^_^
