Who Are You Doing This For
i wish i could stand to look at you again, but your face just makes me think of him
The paper used to make Kimera lamps has lived many lives before reaching our studio. Originally used as traditional paper, then recycled once, twice, or even more timesβit eventually finds its way to a local clothing factory, where itβs used to pleat fabric into form. The heat stamps a variety of patterns into it, forever altering its surface and memory.

Kimera Sol (large)
Kimera is a collaborative lighting project by multidisciplinary artist Dessislava Terzieva and designer Brittany Maton, founder of Nin Studio in Mexico City. Grounded in material transformation and reuse, the project reimagines discarded pleated paper as sculptural luminaires that activate light, volume, and atmosphere within architectural space.
