The Duchess of Sussex’s solicitous and impactful jewellery collection: KIMAI
Kimai aims to create jewellery that leaves an impression but doesn’t leave a mark on the world. Their diamonds have the same purity and quality as those mined from the earth. In fact, they’re identical in all ways but one - Kimai diamonds are much kinder to the planet. Because mining diamonds displaces land, wastes water and pollutes the air. Not to mention puts a strain on local communities. So, by doing things differently, they want to help make a world that’s more sustainable, ethical and fair. All of their diamonds are made in a laboratory. Manufacturing the environment that creates them inside their labs, they make diamonds identical in colour, cut, carat and clarity (the 4Cs) to their mined cousins – without the social and environmental impact.
