vaya and vamos as ex pornodroids that are powered by DESTROYA in the desert
i’m trying to figure out what specific thing gave killjoys the most ✨trauma✨ so here you go
poison: they were manipulated and used in the lobby, and that taught them to basically sell themself as a product. doesn’t believe anyone can care for them without an ulterior motive (causes a lot of effects like oversexualization but also touch repulsed)
kobra: exterminator training. it’s basically torture (break you down and build you back up), but BL pills make it so the trainees don’t remember anything. kobra didn’t take his pills
jet: desert born. dealt with violence from a young age and has seen too many deaths and been the last one alive too many times. they’re scared to get close to people because they’re convinced they’re bad luck
ghoul: used to be about bat city, now it’s the first time he killed another killjoy. nightmares are the worst
just gonna ramble about a droid headcanon i have, ignore the fact that it doesn’t really make sense:
what if BL programs droids to report any illigal activity they see- any illigal activity. graffiti, not taking meds/wearing headphones, planning to escape to the zones, planning a revolution, ect.
but they can get rid of this program (and the security camera implanted in them that records everything they see) by breaking a small part off their head/brain area
so it’s common knowledge among juvie halls and other rule-breakers that they can trust droids with that specific broken part
it’s common knowledge that neutrals work for whoever pays them, whether that be desert rebels or BL/ind.
but there are some extremist killjoys that think if you’re not living to actively oppose BL, you shouldn’t be alive at all.
they go on dusting sprees to murder neutrals in cold blood. no neutral town is safe.

killjoy headcanon:
winners of motorbike races get pop-tops from their fans, so for every victory they make a pop-top bracelet like the one below:
“Like when you pass a mailbox and the sun is scorching your back, and voices seem to whisper by your ears but you turn to look and no one is there. You could pass it off as the wind, perhaps, but the sand lays completely still around you, and it doesn’t sound quite like the wind. Sometimes you swear you can hear the voice of the killjoy just dusted on Route Guano, calling for her crew. Or the crash queen whos bike now sits as a mangled mess at the track, soon to be picked apart. You swear these voices belong to souls being carried away by the Phoenix Witch, on their way to whatever hell has the room.”
(excerpt from my latest oneshot)
There are two kinds of Killjoy headcanon blogs:
1) A four-paragraph essay explaining the complex religious system of the zones, with quotes from the comics and deep spiritual meaning Or 2) Kobra eats the most beans
