there isn't enough characters out there that express such a vulnerable and intimate sadness that is grieving over friendships that either died or were never meant to be
and i know with those two they were ultimately victims of the influence alongside their friends, but isn't that what the influence represents? an oppressive force that cannot be simply described taking what you loved and cherished and never returning it to you. only giving you fleeting moments of hope for only it to take from you again?
not just with blinded nostalgia, but growing old and bitter because of this deep sadness. not finding your "closure" so easily because nothing can truly replace the people you spent precious childhood moments with. even adult friends count as this.
this isnt even limited to those two either. you can insert your perspective of this personal grief and apply it to any rahh character.
hell i even cried over some of the kids that show up in ace's eclipse video.
to the people who do find themselves in rahh characters for whatever reason for whatever connection, i care about you and i hope you can find something to keep you going. even if it's not closure i just hope you all are doing okay. friendship trauma is hard and i want you to know you're not alone. i promise.
