Manix Abrera is signing a book he wrote. He wrote Kiko Machine, a comic book about the lives of students in a university. Manix remained calm and compose despite signing hundreds of book from his clamoring fans. Meeting him, in person, you would not think that he is one of the most famous comic book artists in the Philippines as of today. His simple black shirt and radical face does not suggest an author who has sold thousands of books. His signature is unique. It consists of a personal drawing from him with little to no imperfection, and your name that is written in a special font that is used in his books. His wide collection of writing utensils are laid neatly on the table. He deserves the Papa John’s Pizza offered to him in case hunger strikes him.
