Counting down with @yamagara and everyone who are patiently waiting for the release of Bernice’s new pattern — KIGI 木木 — in 2 days’ time! It is definitely a work of art between @kokonyarn and Bernice. Every detail has been well taken care of, from the gradual changes in colour for the yarns that resembles Bernice’s pottery and nature, the well-made porcelain buttons, the hand-painted card. There’s a trusty project tote to go with as well, painted by Bernice’s daughter. It’s definitely a collectible, but even better after you transform the materials into a functional knitted pullover. We’ll be shipping the kits out on Mon. Swing by our shop if you want to receive it directly here! #Repost @yamagara with @use.repost ・・・ Kigi, coming in 4 days! Test knitting is coming to an end and I’m almost done tidying up the pattern. It has been great joy seeing Kigi’s different look and feel, created by test knitters. Some knitters did the pullover in a single colour while the rest did colour blending. Head over to #kigipullover to see some pictures. My sample was knitted with @kokonyarn in 3 colourways from lighter at the yoke to darker towards the hem and cuffs. The porcelain bottons are handmade by me. Kits are available! Each consists of a set of 3 porcelain buttons, Kokon merino linen in limited edition colourway Kigi, and a tote bag printed with a picture of a yamagara bird, which Michelle commissioned my daughter to illustrate. @eylulkilim @handmakecreate @yarning.hearts @tinyrabbithole @tomoknitfever and @knitterswithoutbordersllc will be happy to let you know that kits are ready for shipping soon, if you have already pre-ordered. If you haven’t, please check if they still have stock. There are only a total of 72 kits among them. #kigipullover #kokonyarn https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp7cbXovOIA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
