It’s been a while and I’m sorry.
I’ve been busy with other stuff lately and generally just wallowing in self pitty. Y’know the ‘way of the artist’ and all that.
I know I have a genuine problem with hopping between ideas at the drop of a hat and it’s something I openly acknowledge and fully intend to work on.
But this time I’m kind of revisiting an older idea and trying to make it simpler. Both in scope and in art style.
I’ve recently realised that I like to get bogged down in details when creating characters and then I struggle to draw them again, or simplify them for practical use. So I figured this time I’d just start simple.
So now we have “Kid Creature”. A feral child shapeshfiter who can turn into animals and monsters by nabbing their essence in fights.
And a newly designed Fitcher. Who if you’ve been following this blog for a while you might recognise as my wizard character who runs a non-profit magic shop with her little brother, where she solves magical problems for people.
They’re two fun little ideas that I might make intersect in some way. My girlfriend likes the idea of these two hanging out, and I can’t say I’m against the idea.
So yeah, let me know what you guys think.
I know I was really jazzed about my masked “Post-apocalyptic” fantasy character, but I think Im just more in the mood for something a little more light-hearted.
