Okay so in this AU they're pretty much both still 16 - Ezmond was a young noble in an aristocratic family and soon to be earl (as his father was slowly dying) while Khron was a slightly rebel high school kid who would purposely do stuff he wasn't meant to do but still a big ball of sunshine and whimsy.

One day, Khron is sneaking out of school after being dress coded when he saw a curious capsule with like the biggest sign that said "TIME MACHINE STILL IN PROGRESS - DO NOT USE" but Khron ignored that, somehow got past all the security and used it anyways. He had just recently learnt about the Victorian era so he goes there and boom suddenly he's in London 1887 in that exact outfit you're seeing in the WIP so of course people are calling him a scandal and he runs off trying to find another time machine

He sees Ezmond sitting on a fence in a park and it's immediately love at first sight

So Khron goes to talk to him and he immediately has Ezmond's attention - he had lived as a spoiled brat inside the mansion's walls most of his life raised by British etiquette and had never seen someone dress so informally though he found it visually pleasing

So they began talking and became friends and Ezmond lets him stay over at the mansion (with what was considered proper clothing back then) (he ends up making it look slightly punk-ish anyways) and they both slowly fall in love and still form the troupe where Ezmond starts bossing him around and Khron is just happy to be there, however Khron has limited time and needs to find a way to go back into the present or he'll slowly disappear
