Who's Nihila ? (for new people only)

Our last stop is Quadratum, the limbo, the other plane of reality! Who'd have thought that what all but seems like basically a foem of purgatory could be so vibrant and packed with life?

Last time we saw Tuffy and Ludor, they were in the glory days of their youth. Now, through trials, tribulations, and the vice grips of the reign of two Organizations. Luxord, a heart in shackles where he should be roaming as free as any guy of his type should be. Tuffy, a caretaker searching a cause in the present day, trying to piece together life after tragedy.

Yet what I said in the last time we caught a glimpse into the life of these two hearts lost in time still rings true. Fate finds a way. They would find their way back to one another after the dust settled, albeit in a new plane of existence entirely. Luxord became whole again, and Tuffy found her cause. Yet their circumstances brought them together all over again in this strange world. Ready to face what lies ahead, whatever that may be.

Our journey for this week may be over- but the stories of these couples carry on. The legend has only started! I enjoyed my time here, and the many beautiful character stories I've encountered.

It's off to Neverland with the most whimsical couple of my lot! I was so stoked for this particular entry because I knew I could do the iconic "flying in front of Big Ben" scene! I know I'm definitely not the only one who did this interpretation but...Come on! Who can blame me? It's a timeless moment. The opportunity was practically screaming at me to do it.

🧚‍♀️ "You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!" 🧚‍♀️

Normally these two are completely flightless- so this was a rather new experience for the newcomer Wielder Sirix and her melodic Nobody companion. I think by the looks of things they're enjoying their little midair date! Now, Sirix is a sea serpent so flying isn't that much different than treading water to her, where she uses her tail like a propellor and rudder. Demyx probably had to have a little guidance to get his bearings, but he has a pretty good teacher in Sirix.

Sorry it's not a fully colored digital piece but I woke up not feeling that great physically, so doodling with pencils is all my energy could scrounge together for this part (and any other drawings today for that matter) 😭 The prompt is "Beast's Castle" and I have an OC who just so happened to visit this world...for a very interesting reason. 👀 I did try to back it up with a bit longer blurb!

"Lelandess, a Keyblade Wielder from Radiant Garden was traveling to explore a world she wanted to visit for a long time but couldn't in her young age. However, trouble was lurking in the Castle just around the bend, its presence physically pressing. The man who awaited was dressed in a black coat and surrounded by countless purple lances. He floated on stormy winds and had a stone-faced glare that cut like the tornado of blades around him. Lelandess's expression twisted into horror- she knew this man once.

"Uncle Dilan... what have they done to you?"

The man knew no such name, and the clash between niece and uncle estranged began. Lelandess fought to her best ability, but a stray lance caught her, the sharpest end slicing directly across her right eye. The blood loss and shock from the pain would down the floral wielder almost instantly. The cloaked memory from her childhood only scoffed, giving one final parting remark about weakness and dissipated into a Corridor of Darkness. There was no way Lelandess was going to survive this-

Or was there?

Another cloaked figure with flaming hair scooped up the limp wielder on the ground, a panic glinting across emerald pools on his bewildered expression. He was frantically muttering something, the word "friend" escaping labored mumbling a few times. The panicked fire-mane knew he had to get her to somewhere where she'd be found and transported to where her wound can be nurtured.

I’ll admit, I struggled with this one. Because I couldn’t decided what to draw for this theme. After going through my sketches and old ideas.

Things are taking another turn for the ominous- we are going to the World That Never Was! There really was only one OC and one pairing to use for this! It's the oldcomer ship of my artistic universe: Xemnas and my pride and joy deer lady Faliux!

A sinner and a saint, zero and infinity, devil and angel. No matter what I call them, their tumultuous, yet heartfelt journey had to be highlighted. Two creatures next to null of emotions trying to capture the fleeting moments of feeling something more than emptiness, even if it's all but just a lie. A rare moment or two or solitude within suffering. Faliux was the one who saw past a power-hungry manipulator, and saw the deep ache for something out of reach and the pain within. Her natural instinct to nurture in order to seek an answer for her own emptiness was unusual, but a curious case nonetheless. A curious miracle.

Scala Ad Caelum you say? Well let us take a trip in time to the early metropolitan industrial revolution of Scala, the era known as "The Lost Tales" according to old legend. (Which is actually just what was supposed to be Missing Link but we can't have nice things unfortunately, other than through various leaks :,])

🕰 "We're after the same rainbow's end, waiting 'round the bend. My Huckleberry friend, Moon River, and me." 🕰

Here we see a younger version of Tuffy, a genius inventor's daughter and future heroine of the Keyblade. She was born with the innate ability to manipulate and summon metal by compressing microscopic particles in the air. She was gazing thoughtfully out over her balcony, until a familiar voice hit her ears. She looks down...there he stands! The boy her father introduced to her friend group that had captured her heart through his charming nature and gentlemanly manners.

"Oh, Ludor! For what do I owe the pleasure of your arrival?" She called out, only then to notice the gift he had brought her. Black Satin Dahlia, at least a dozen of them. Flattered, she received the bouquet, her heart was a-flutter, for the clever boy remembered her favorite flowers from passing conversation. It was in that moment that Tuffy realized that the friendly Ludor was truly the keeper of her heart, and there was no denying it.

The story may not have ended happily for either of them, but fate isn't so set-in-stone as you'd think. They will meet again in another period of time. Their paths are written in the stars to cross once more, but through turmoil. Yet their bond will stay as true as it was in its humble beginnings.
