Giving KHDR characters accessories from the game, because I can.

Xehanort, for a fact, did NOT know what or who Bragi really was in the end.

I haven't drawn him or the other Dark Road kids in a long while now so this is what came out of it. I'll probably draw the others soon lol

When sketching this, I used my Cycles comic thing as reference for how I personally drew Bragi, and I'd forgotten that I chose to go with shorter/thicker eyebrows on him. I feel like it fits him v-v

Baldr: *shakes his head*

E: "Or not......I thought the same thing."

E: "Yep. This isn't the Underworld."

E: "Then where is the Underworld!?"

*I always get a kick out of it when a character does "Yeah, we're fine....Heck no, we're not!" type joke set-up

I actually want to add another part from this section:

Bragi: "Then me and......"

B: "If [I] pick Eraqus then Xehanort will follow along, right?"

B: "Exactly three people."

X: "I'm not Eraqus's extra."

E: "Don't say such cold things―!"

*The "Eraqus's extra" thing is making me cackle since おまけ (omake) can also be translated like "freebie" like a buy-one-get-one-free thing ToT

I wanted to do these more light-hearted lines lol

There's technical things that I could ramble about but it isn't really important in the KH narrative sense, it's just super niche tiny things.

Unless I come up with another idea or get an ask about something else, expect another Dark Road translation for tomorrow as well v-v

ENG : I don't know if a comparison between Bragi and Griever has already been made or not. Originally I wondered if there was a chance Bragi could be Sora's grandfather or something like that ?

I mean there is a physical resemblance between the two characters. It could also draw a parallel with Kairi and her grandmother, the young Xehanort and the old person who looked after him, and Ventus/Vanitas with Master Xehanort in a way.

We also know that Eraqus has noble blood and he looks a lot like to Brain. So Luxu could have given birth with the bodies he stole.

Squall from Final Fantasy VIII himself has a hidden relative, in the person of his father Laguna. Laguna who handles firearms like Braig... and Braig whose the nobody Xigbar manipulates space, perhaps in reference to Star Wars and Dark Vador ? Even if Luxu/Bragi cannot be Sora's father because he's mentioned in Birth by Sleep, while Luxu was already controlling Braig's body...

Luxu/Bragi could also have hidden on the Destiny Islands after his presumed death, since he knew that Xehanort no longer wanted to return there. Therefore he had less chance of encountering him.

Lust or Luxuria is also a sin easily associated to Sora, who is capable of committing forbidden acts for love ; first when he sacrificed himself to free Kairi's heart and then, when he overused the Power of Waking to save everyone. Hearts also tend to take refuge with Sora's and he has literally reproduced himself with the birth of Roxas, Xion and Naminé. Luxu's lust is also present but expressed itself differently, with the theft of the bodies of all those who were supposed to inherit his Master's Keyblade out of loyalty (those before Xehanort, the Seeker of Darkness).

Sora was also a lion in the early versions of Kingdom Hearts and his crown symbol is so important !
