- Iori was the first to suspect that there was something going on between Takeru and Hikari. He's observant and Takeru's jogress partner, so he knows what's up. Every time they flirt, he internally rolls his eyes and thinks they should just get together already.

- Miyako started liking Ken sometime in middle school, but didn't think he would ever like her back. Hikari gave her the confidence to confess her feelings.

- Despite them not having much screen time together, Hikari and Iori are good friends. If Miyako is Iori's chaotic older sister, Hikari is the calm one.

- They get along a with each other's digimon partners too. Hikari always makes sure to pat Armadimon's head and bring him snacks when she's over at Iori's house and Iori and Tailmon are both serious yet kind so they get each other.

- Hikari and Ken are also close because of the darkness and all and their similar personalities. Wormmon loves pets, and Hikari gives them to him.

-In fact, all the digimon love being pet and held by Hikari, because she's nice and gentle.

- Miyako randomly walks into the Hida apartment to see Iori, and nobody bats an eye.

- If someone knocks on Iori's bedroom door, there's a good chance it's Miyako. At this point he can tell if it's her or someone else before she even opens the door.

- Hikari takes pictures of Daisuke's and Ken's soccer games and Iori's kendo matches.

- Daisuke never had luck dating in high school, but he finally met a girl at the ramen restaurant he worked at. She was a regular and they eventually started chatting and it continued from there. He became an even bigger simp for her than he was for Hikari. (And that's saying a lot!)

- As for Iori, he met the girl that would become his wife in school. They were classmates, and she said good morning at the shoe lockers one morning, and they ended up becoming friends. She’s quiet and thoughtful like him. It took Iori a while to understand his feelings, because she was his first crush and his brain is not wired to process something as illogical, fluttery, and delicate as love, but after a while of being deep in thought and denial, he accepted the fact that the liked her (Takeru gave plenty of advice, support, and questions that pushed Iori in the right direction 😉)
