The first day of August and closer to Fall! We took the ferry over to Kingston peninsula, secretly hoping that my friend would get to see a bald eagle. It was not to be. She did see one the other day, but it was an immature eagle, and he was way too high up in the sky. Today, we did get a good look at two, blue herons, at least … they were sitting up in a tree.
