I know he's always a little kiss-ass, but Kengo looks so done with Hamura's shit. I think he just sticks with whoever's in charge, because he does feel pretty loyal as a character, all things considered. Like yeah, he was gonna go on a suicide mission to fight the Mole and bring the Family down with him, but it was all for revenge and Matsugane's honor. Not to mention Kengo saw a bunch of his fellow yakuza killed by the Mole in the blink of an eye.
