â  the things iâd do to you if we werenât out in public âŠÂ â a little spice, as a treat
It wasnât the first time theyâd flirted, and it wasnât about to be the last, either. As they stood in front of one of the quasar machinesâKat trying her luck, and actually doing fairly wellâshe remained focused, the only giveaway being the hint of a smile that curled onto her face as she followed the prompts on the haptic interface. If there was one thing Aria was good at, it was flirting, and damn if she didnât make Kat all jittery when she tried.
âIf you want to test that theory, the apartment isnât far. And it has⊠quite the view.â Amenities, too. The kind of amenities they could both avail themselves of. Oh, there were thoughts going through her head⊠thoughts that she definitely wanted to put into action. Sheâd keep those filed away for later, though; right now, she was actually enjoying her night, and it seemed her asari companion was, too. Unfortunately, Kat was not quite as good at flirting as Aria was, though it wasnât going to stop her from trying her hand at it.
âYou know,â Kat continued, her smirk growing. âI remember a certain⊠Patriarch telling me a little story.â She lowered her voice, ensuring that it was only Aria that could hear her. âDisguising as a dancer is beyond clever, but knowing you, that was more than just a disguise. Maybe Iâd like a private show.â Feigning innocenceâknowing full well she was being far from innocent at the momentâKat batted her eyelashes, a teasing look in her eyes. âIf youâd be so kind as to oblige.â
