"It was our first year competing in the World Rally Championship, and while we may have been a real-deal, point-scoring, factory-supported WRC team, some days it was hard not to fan out. It was surreal to all of us, including Ken, to be hanging in the service area with rally royalty like Petter Solberg, but nothing was more wild than the night we got to party with Kimi and Loeb.

The plan was to have a quick dinner, and get to bed early, as we had an important meeting with Lord March at the Goodwood Estate the next morning. Kimi had other plans, that involved a concoction of vodka, champagne and Red Bull. Let’s just say this recipe thaws out the Ice Man with ease. It also left me, Ken, Ron and Saydah blacked out in the streets of Swansea."
