I got an email today from the big public library in the city next to my itty-bitty town inviting me to an author showcase event in November! So now I'm looking into making bookmarks and business cards in anticipation. =D

Also, got confirmation that The Ward Throne will be available for purchase 1 February 2027! Eeeeeek! It'll be available through reputable online sellers (Amazon, Indigo, I think B&N?). I will be screeching here as soon as the preorder links are live!

*it's a Carrd site made on the cheap because Carrd was the only site I saw in my perusing of Google that was A- cheap and B- not shoving AI down my throat. But it exists, with links to the social media!

Book Two of the Ward Throne series, Chapter Four: in which, the God of Lore/Romance and the Goddess of Vengeance go to investigate a five-year-old murder with medieval forensics. Next stop: castle dungeons for an interrogation!

In the meantime, I'm chatting with a friend who wants to record the audiobook when the paper copy releases. When editing is done, I'll be able to send out ARCs to my advance readers for reviews! @orangekittyenergy (who is one of my favourite humans for all her work on this! ❤️) is still plugging away at the cover, which looks SO GOOD SO FAR and I'm so excited to show everyone soon, once that's finalized!

In the meantime, I've been playing with the Nortantis program that @greyias linked me to (Grey, you are a wonderful human being for all your behind-the-scenes help! 😘), and I think I now have a world map for the entire world, and a zoomed-in bit for the section where Ward Throne actually takes place! Because every self-respecting fantasy novel needs a map. 😉

Publisher has also said that preorders should open about two weeks or so before the book hits shelves/Amazon. So stay tuned for me to excitedly screech about that!
