“MORE (もっと)” by Jaevonn is an aesthetic declaration of multidimensional mastery. With a regal figure lifting the Earth as if it's nothing but another crafted move in his choreography, the piece refuses traditional depictions of burden. Here, weight becomes willpower. Surrounded by symbols of American speed and violence—guns, baseballs, a burning landscape—he remains unwavering, poised, divine.
The golden Baroque cross does not hover in salvation—it radiates from within. The reimagined Black American flag speaks not of protest but of perspective.

I’m still absorbing the immense amount of eyeball creativity & mental imagination that I came across in 4 days in Miami but the Trip to the new Rubell Museum collection reminded me of one thing. Besides the Prado museum’s Goyas & the Sofia’s Guernica this Kehinde Wiley has to be one of the top ten paintings in the world. Maybe top 5!!!
