LINKTOBER DAY 2– Hyrule Castle

I have to split today’s linktober into two because there’s too much stuff to tackle. That aside, here’s some lighthearted shenanigans!

The duo’s looking for the source of the blood moons, and zelda’s finally mustered the courage (and annoyance) to poke around within the castle’s bowels. This is great, because she and link have stumbled across a goldmine of ancient murals older than even the ancient sheikah’s catalogued history. Cheers, zelda!

I think these little guys would be absolute cuddle bugs if they get the their hands on a blanket, though they do get up for any little sound so that might be small problem

For as fun as it would be to nap on one of these guys bellies i think the threat of being squished would be on my mind

These guys are going to radiate a lot of good heat, but I worry about the tounge and also me being 5'7 might leave me being possibly squished compared to their sibling blins

Very flexible boys, adapt to lots of temperatures but the most likely cold bloodedness might leave me being the only one to provide some heat

Soft fuzzy boys! Gotta appreciate the fact they also like shady spots, but with how fidgety these guys get I worry they won't stay long

Sorry little guys but you're squish and fluidity isn't going to help here

Keese

Keese are, by all metrics; the most important animal in all of Hyrule. These strange bat like creatures transfer nutrients from across not only the surface, but also to the sky islands and the expansive depths beneath Hyrule.

Keese gather in massive swarms of thousands of individuals every night to fly out from their day time roosts to fulfill a macabre but vital role in the ecosystem, they pick clean any corpses and dead animals clean, destroying diseases in their cradles before infecting the water supply or larger animals.

Keese also reproduce explosively, with Keese females laying their eggs within a pouch on the male’s lower side which, the male fertilizes and holds onto until, about 7 weeks later, the eggs hatch and tiny Keese fly out of the pouch to fend for themselves, they provide no care for their young beyond this brooding of eggs.

Nearly everything eats Keese. Even I do sometimes, they taste somewhat like a gamey fish which, is to be expected since that’s kinda what they are.
