#kcon 2017

For some reason the entire duration of the KCON days I had NCT’s Whiplash stuck in my head especially Taeil’s lines in the bridge and ohmygod every time it comes up in a playlist it brings back all the kcon feels and I remember specific moments so vividly like washing my hair after a long day of KCON-ing and waiting in line with my friends at 5 AM to get the limited Kevin Woo merch and splitting a pack of jajangmyeon between the four of us and cooking microwave popcorn in a pan on a crackly stove in our sketchy air bnb and exploring koreatown and walking down to Choice Music LA and buying the Cherry Bomb album and screaming our hearts out and how my knees just gave way when Super Junior D&E came on stage and how I started crying while screaming Oppa Oppa along with their song and how we met Kevin Woo and got our KCON pages signed by him and all sobbed afterwards and we high-fived Gotoe the youtuber and how we all agreed he was so much cuter irl (lmao) and hugged JeffreyFever and back at the airbnb how we slept on the useless couch-bed that lacked support and how I got up at 7 am everyday to listen to NCT Night Night and how that one day we were waiting in line for Kevin merch my friend and I were listening to EnNaNa and La La Love by NCT Dream came on and we screamed and pulled out our earphones because we hadn’t heard/watched We Young yet and we wanted to watch the MV before we heard it on EnNaNa but we didn’t know if it was We Young or something else so we screamed and ripped out our earphones just in case lmao!! and then when Whiplash ends literally all the feelings fade back away but for the duration of the song, it’s so surreal because I relive those five days in a span of three minutes

K so one of the funniest con memories I had Kumoricon 2017 was on day 2?? I think. But we were walking past the main event and the person in front of us dropped their lighter and we all had to like pause and all I saw was that it was green at the time and me fuckin loving green was like “oh I love your lighter” and then they flipped it over to show it was Seahawks and literally just going “oh nevermind...I just liked the green part of it..”  so me and this person comment about how the lighter sucked. Idk who they were cosplaying but if you remember this you were cool Also shout out to the person who had the fuckin Elijah Wood phone case like that was another funny moment because of how perfect the moment was. (To explain. It was my friend Ashe, myself, the hivebeast artists, and like 3 other people and one of the buttons was just “terrific” like in the Elijah Wood meme and the person on the other end of the booth who was looking with us pulled out their phone case and showed us it was Elijah Wood)
