Allison was startled, naturally, when she woke up. The fact that she had woken up at all was a miracle, considering just a few months prior, or was it longer, she had died. She remembered being in Scott’s arms as he tried to take her pain, comforting him and accepting her fate.
Yet, here she was, standing in a jacket, dress, and tights, eerily similar to the one she died in, somewhere in a town she didn’t recognize. It was baffling, but her first instinct was to find somewhere safe, to figure out where she was and how. She couldn’t be alone, but the dismal surroundings seemed to suggest otherwise. Perhaps this was some trick? She was still dead and this was just some hellish after she got stuck in.
So, off she went, watching carefully where she went and trying to remain as quiet and cautious as possible. She was painfully aware of how thirsty and hungry she was, and she wondered how long it had really been. If she saw somebody, she decided, she’d try to figure out where they were and how she could get some food and water.
“Hey, you!” Allison’s voice was raspy and harsh coming from her throat, as she tried to call out to the figure she saw turned away from her. Her hand instinctively went to grab for the Chinese ring daggers she owned, and she found a knife conveniently strapped to her upper right thigh. She was surprised as she hadn’t noticed it before, assumedly just due to it being such a familiar sensation, yet she couldn’t truly decipher at that moment.
“Where are we?” She called out again, hoping to catch their attention and get some answers.
