“So, where do you see yourself in all this?” Henry murmured, tossing the surcoat onto a chair, pulling back to gauge Hans’s face. “Tell me what’s got you so excited, hm?” He toyed with a lock of gold hair, gazing down at the shape of his lips as they twisted seductively. “Well,” Hans said, acting coy. “You know me. I do love attention.”

“You see,” he continued, making himself comfortable. “I noticed the spark between the two of you back then.” Henry felt Bartosch’s hand glide over his spine. Up and down. “I told Henry about it. What I saw,” Bartosch mused, his voice warm and low. His hand moved to Henry’s neck, to the base of his skull, and Henry could not hide the pleasurable shiver that moved through him as Bartosch’s fingertips teased the short hair at the nape of his neck. “Didn’t I, Henry?”

Perhaps he was beginning to understand Hans and his strange desires. Better than ever before. After tonight, a lot of things now made sense. It made Henry wonder…
