Kavak 27
Kavak rushed through the doors of the castle, sword in hand. The castle was as deserted as the town. Nothing seemed to have been touched. Everything was in its proper place, making Kavak think that there was no struggle when everyone disappeared.
As Kavak made his way to the throne room, he could feel more and more darkness around him.
Kavak threw open the doors to the throne room. Cassandra was standing in front of the throne, her back to Kavak. She was wearing a black cloak as she looked at the throne.
As Kavak moved forward, Cassandra started to speak. "I was wondering how long it would take you to arrive. I had almost thought you might have fled."
As Cassandra turned around to face Kavak, she dropped the cloak. Kavak could see that she had on a new dress. This one was crimson red and seemed to radiate with some sort of new power.
"What have you done?" Kavak said, looking at Cassandra, feeling horrified. Had she really done something with all of the towns people and all of the castle staff?
"I've finally done it," Cassandra said, approaching Kavak, smiling brightly and taking his hand. "I have finally found a way to get to the other world. A primitive world, where they don't know about magic. We can leave this world and rule there like gods!"
"Have you really lost your mind?" Kavak said. "I can't believe you'd even consider an idea as ludicrous as that. I trusted you. We were to protect this world, not destroy it and rule another world."
"Well, if you won't join me, then I suppose I shall have to destroy you," Cassandra said, raising her hand, starting to cast a spell.
Kavak was faster. He raised his hand and cast a curse on Cassandra, causing her to stumble backwards.
"What have you done?" Cassandra said, looking fearful.
"Well, you want to go to that other world so badly, then go." Kavak said, feeling weak. "You shall have a fitting form to match as well."
"No!" Cassandra screamed at Kavak. "You can't do this!" As Cassandra said this, her hair started to fall, and her skin started to pale. She was slowly starting to turn into the creature Kavak had seen in his vision. Cassandra screamed again, and she cast one last spell at Kavak.
Kavak started feeling sleepy, as he stumbled towards the throne. Cassandra conjured a gray robe and pulled it close against her thin body.
As Kavak watched, Cassandra drew up blue flames, which created a portal. As Cassandra stepped through the portal, Kavak could see a dilapidated white house. Kavak's eyes drifted closed as the portal shut. Kavak fell asleep, hoping that a champion would rise up in the other world to avenge him, and stop Cassandra's reign of terror.

A dog, a dino, and a dick metaphor
Her gün geride bırakırız bir şeyler.
Bu günden geriye kalanlar güzellik oldu elhamdülillah...
Kavak 25
Elara led the others to the library. She felt very embarrassed that king Borva had outed that she liked Alkar like that. She knew that everyone would figure it out eventually, if they hadn't already. It was still embarrassing none the less though.
The group entered the library, and Kavak, Menlen, and Alkar looked up, marveling at all of the books. Shelves rose row after row along the walls, going up several hundred meters, with balconies every so often. The balconies were connected by stone spiral stairs. The ceiling was a giant glass window, looking onto the reddening sky.
"Let's get started," Kavak said. "Elara, do you know where the books about magical creatures might be?"
Elara pointed to a point over halfway up. Menlen let out a soft whine as he followed Kavak towards the stairs.
Kavak and Menlen climbed the stairs as Alkar and Elara talked with the enchantress, trying to figure out anything they could about what she knew.
Most of the books that Kavak and Menlen looked at were in their language. Others were in some unknown language that required Kavak to cast several translation spells before they could be read. This led to Kavak having to take several hours just to search one book.
The process of searching through the books took several days. Kavak sleeping where he was on th balcony, when he slept. Menlen left every so often to get food, and occasionally brought some to Kavak. Kavak never left his post, fearing that if he did, he would lose his place and have to start over.
Things went on like this for several days before there was an interruption.
Kavak was at his post, reading when Menlen brought him a plate of food.
"You're going to get too thin and weak to be of any use to this if you keep this up," Menlen said, looking concerned.
"I'll be okay," Kavak said, looking up and smiling lightly. "I know I'm close. I just need..."
At that moment, the door to the library doors flew open and slammed against the wall so hard that several books fell. Kavak bolted to his feet. Menlen dropped the plate as the two rushed towards the banister. A young man stumbled into the room and fell to the floor.
Kavak leapt over the banister and landed on the ground lightly, almost like a cat. He rushed to the young man and helped him up.
The young man was from Kavak's kingdom, and he recognized him as being his own chamberlain. There was, however, blood coming from the man's mouth, eyes, and ears. It was as though he had been poisoned.
"Your majesty," the man said, smiling. Then a look of fear came over him, and he said, "You must come back and quickly! She's lost her mind!"
"Who?" Kavak said. By this time, Menlen had reached Kavak's side, and the others were coming through the door.
The man looked on in fear as the name passed his lips. "Lady Cassandra..."
