Hi there, I know it clearly says this ain't google on top of the ask box but I really wanted to know if you have any tips to have an organized tagging system. I plan to start a marvel blog soon and I wanted it to be organized and your tags are really great so I thought you could help. I have no idea what the u: and c: and s: means and I know this is kinda dumb not to know but could you please help me? thanks!
oh yes no problem! that’s not really a question that can be answered with google, so don’t worry!
I’ve tried to get my tagging system under control but I’m still tweaking it a little, but right now my system is:
s = (romantic/sexual) ship
r = relationship (for relationships that I don’t interpret as mainly/exclusively romantic or sexual)
c = character
u = universe (ie the various universes of marvel, 616, 1610, mcu, etc)
film = uhh speaks for itself?
I think that’s it. I mainly use quotes that characters have said for the tags, or a description from the text. for films, I mostly have their working titles if they’ve been released. you might see other blogs use something like c: (or ch:)  [character name] for their tags, but I’m Not Like Other Blogs and so I use obnoxious lengthy incoherent tags. if you’re gonna go that route, I recommend making a tag page, if only for your personal reference. mine’s here if you want an example? it’s basically just so I can keep track of them all.
