A Little Bit About the Product KATE SOMERVILLE Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment is an exfoliator that combines physical and chemical exfoliation to deeply cleanse and purify pores. It contains natural fruit enzymes, lactic acid, and AHAs that work together to slough away dead skin cells and brighten your complexion. It also has a slightly green and medicinal scent, which I find neither pleasant nor off-putting. My Experience The first time I used this product years ago, it burned my skin quite a bit, but left my skin feeling super soft and glowing afterwards. This time around, while there was still some burning sensation all over my face, it wasn’t nearly as intense as before. After rinsing off the scrub with warm water and patting dry with a clean towel, my skin felt so smooth and looked radiant! My pores appeared visibly smaller too! I only use this product one or twice a week maximum because exfoliating too often can damage your skin barrier. But when I do use it, I always get great results! I have a normal skin type, but this product is suitable for all skin types without being overly harsh on the skin. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I feel like I get the leftover boxes, the end of the batch. I don't wear matte lip products and @boxycharm puts one in my box just about every month. If I don't get it in my box one month, they're putting a dark brown or chocolate (way too dark) colored eyebrow pencil or brow product in there. I love brow products, and I said that I want them often. But I want them for my color and complexion, otherwise what's the point? So, I've been trying to decide what to do.
