And something just hit me. A person straight up said to run if you get him angry because he's just going to go off. And like, fair enough I guess? Warning people? But at the same time it was said with a such unrepentant attitude that it started bothering me.

If you are aware of yourself enough to say something like that, shouldn't you be aware enough to try and minimize the resulting scene? Or remove yourself from the stimulus until you can calm down?

Like a lot of times people will say "oh it's just me i can't help it." or "I just have a temper, it's just how I am" and then proceed to unleash that temper on others without even trying to mitigate it.
