It's so blunt and, as a trans man, sickening to think about, but it makes a lot of sense. Especially considering that White women have historically been the only ones with womanhood, especially womanhood worth "protecting."

"I refuse to share my body with a man who wouldn't politically defend it" should be a more widespread motto not just for trans women, but for all women, as a matter of elementary self respect.
Many men want the benefits of having a woman in their lives, but refuse to do the bare minimum to defend her basic human rights when they are threatened in any other way than the physical, immediate one - someone assaults her and the man fights the attacker - which is the only way to defend a woman that makes the man look good in his and other men's eyes. And the vast majority of threats to a woman's rights are not the kind that can be solved in a manner which makes the man live his power fantasies.
