Looking like an idiot, lost and dropping the armful of textbooks all over the concrete is never the greatest way to make an impression.
Except when it happens to be someone in much the same state, lost and confused trying to find classes in buildings, and wondering why the hell the ground floor is marked with 100 instead of 000 like every other apartment building or school.
And instead of blushing and awkwardly apologising while trying to gather textbooks and binders,, eyes lock for just a moment; hazel to green. A smile soon gathers on both sets of lips.
"I'm Ashley," the one says, moving her handful of books to the other in favour of offering a hand to shake. Even in the awkward crouch position she's in, her father always taught her to be polite.
Taking the hand, the girl in the jeans and the beanie grins, shaking it even though her pile of books goes eloquently back to the pavement.
"You can call me K-mart. ... " A pause. "weird name, I know. But.. hi."

K-mart's hazel eyes shot open at the salacious words from her girlfriend's lips, and suddenly, she was very, very awake. "Oh really?" She smirked, wetting her lips.
"Mmhmm." Ashley began, first kissing her quickly before moving the bedsheets out of the way. "Happy birthday to you..." She began to speak-sing as she kissed down K's body, and K-mart put her arms behind her head, watching intently. This probably- no, this was the best birthday gift she'd ever been given, and damn, she was looking forward to it.
