the concept of kasamatsu having the most interesting case of comphet as a gay man is truly underrated:
he's always nervous around women. he gets shy, his hands sweat, his heart beats fast, he stutters and gets tongue-tied. it must be because he's really, really attracted to them but doesn't know how to behave around them bc his family is mostly men, right?
(it's not, it's just anxiety) (it's a gendered type of anxiety that stems from the pressure of heteronormativity combining with the gender expectations on him as a man)
in turn, he's never been nervous around men, if anything the opposite. sure, his personality became harsher after becoming captain, but he didn't have any particular kind of issue socializing with other guys his age. he feels comfortable, he knows what to talk about, what passions he can find in common with them. all these things are perfectly platonic, right?
(well, not for him. not every time, at least. but he doesn't notice it, he hasn't even considered it. but what he does notice is how he always got this unexplainable anger stuck on his chest that he can only get rid off by yelling at other guys about it, how despite being able to build friendships he keeps the most vulnerable parts of him for himself and even his friends are kept at arm's length instead of hand's reach, as if if they were to know too much about him they'll find there things that he himself doesn't even want to find out about and the house of cards will collapse in itself and everything will be over. and he cannot let that happen. he cannot let that happen. no matter what, he cannot let that happen)
so. he's straight, right?
he must be straight.
he has to be.
after all, what other option is there?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUKIO KASAMATSU MY HUSBAND ILY!!!!
This is so embarrassing—!! Lmao, can I pls have GoM+Kagami+Kasamatsu reacting to their girlfriend slipping in the shower and badly hurting herself? I’m glad I wasn’t home alone or else uhh.. lmao it’s funny now but I do have a knarly bump on my head from it^^”
Glad to know you are a-okay, anon! Sorry this one took a while to answer! Admin Neon
Kuroko: The first thing he does is wrap her in a towel. He is quick to gently guide her toward sitting on the edge of the tub, helping her swing her feet up and over the edge. "You're not seeing double or anything, are you?" His knowledge of head injuries in rudimentary at best, coming mainly from television shows and the occasional random discussion from friends, so he doesn't know exactly what to do next other than keep you awake.
Kagami: His face is nearly as red as his hair as he helps his girlfriend off the floor. If it weren't for the fact she was using both of his hands to balance herself, he would have been covering his eyes. Instead, he tried his best to look toward the ceiling where he counted the water spots left on the spackle from steam. Only when he'd counted enough, and his girlfriend was appropriately covered in a towel, did he manage to look down without glowing from embarrassment.
Kise: "____cchi, don't die on me!" He's dramatic when he flings open the bathroom door to find his girlfriend in a heap on the floor. The shower curtain and towel that's clinging to her are soaking wet from the shower still pouring down and he has trouble deciding what to do first. Turn off the water? Or help his girlfriend up? He ends up standing there for a few seconds trying to figure out what to do and she ends up yelling at him to help her first.
Kasamatsu: He hears the loud crash from outside the bathroom and comes running in, only to immediately cover his eyes at the state of his girlfriend's undress. He's reaching out one hand to help her up while the other one tries to keep his gaze away from her body — give her some privacy, he tells himself. But when he looks in the mirror and sees her anyway, he can't help the bright shade of red from invading his face.
Aomine: The seriousness of his attitude when helping his girlfriend up immediately washes away when he realizes she's going to be fine. The troubled frown on his face melts into a teasing smirk. "Maybe you shouldn't be showering alone. I could join you from now on." He waggles his eyesbrows a bit after his comment, trying to egg her on to agreeing. After all, she can't slip and fall again if he's right there to catch her.
Midorima: It's almost as if he were prepared for this exact moment because he seems almost methodical in the way he helps her up off the floor, wrapping a towel around her body before sitting her down on the bathroom counter. He pulls out a first aid kit before she can even get a word in edgewise, his hands delicately checking her scalp for any serious head wounds. When none come up, she finally hears him let out a single sigh of relief.
Murasakibara: She almost feels like a child with the way he's able to so easily pick her up off the bathroom floor after her fall. He's gentle to set her back on her feet, his hands still holding on to her sides in case the floor was still too slippery. "____-chin, are you okay?" The quick glance over her body doesn't reveal any major injuries, but he still hovers around the bathroom door after she insists on continuing on with her shower.
Akashi: Maybe it was a bit of an overreaction, but the day after her fall, he has the interior of the bathroom completely redone. All she had asked for was a rubber bathmat, something that would prevent her from slipping again. Instead, he goes the full nine yards and has the shower floor ripped out and replaced with something easier to stand on. For a moment, he contemplates bars on the walls. Maybe that was a bit too far...
Dunno if someone asked this, but how would they react if they had a dominant/tomboy girlfriend?
You didn't specify who 🥲 So instead, I will give you a person from each of the main teams who might or might not benefit from a dominant/tomboy girlfriend. Admin Neon
Seirin — Hyuuga
would probably not mind a girlfriend who is a bit of a tomboy
he's not sure how he would feel if his girlfriend were more dominant
a bit of a toxic trait of his is that he'd feel like he was a little emasculated with a more dominant girlfriend
Kaijou — Kasamatsu
he would actually benefit with having a girlfriend who is a tomboy
part of the fear of interacting with girls with him is the fact he thinks girls are so wildly different than him, so the fact he could communicate at least a little better with her was a huge accomplishment
Touou — Susa
he hasn't ever sought out a relationship with a girl a bit more tomboyish, but he wouldn't be opposed to trying
she may not act super girly, but he still does his best to spoil her rotten the way he would try if she was
Shutoku — Takao
loves having a more dominant girlfriend and will often act like a damsel in distress himself just to get her to make him swoon
but just because she's more dominant doesn't mean he doesn't try to sweep her off her feet, too; after all, it was funnier seeing her fluster
Yosen — Liu
he's not exactly into girls who are tomboyish or more dominant than him
maybe he had a more girly vision of her when he initially said yes to dating, but that doesn't mean he gives up on the relationship just because she didn't turn out to be what he thought
Rakuzan — Nebuya
he loves a dominant woman, she's exactly his type and he could have asked for nothing more
nobody would have expected her to be his type, considering his own sheer dominance, but he really is whipped for his girlfriend in every way

Hi there! Can I request Kuroko, Midorima, Aomine, Akashi, Himuro, & Kasamatsu trying to impress their crush but failing miserably?
Kuroko: He had thought, what would be more romantic than a letter driven scavenger hunt? The little adventure he had led you on with his handwritten notes had taken you through many of the places he remembered interacting with you — the classroom, the library, on the rooftop — and it all ended here, next to the giant tree at the back of the school grounds. As you approached him, he gave you a soft smile and handed you the last letter; his confession.
He felt his heart stop when you looked up at him in confusion, asking, "Huh? Kuroko? Who's that?"
Kasamatsu: Looking out at the small group of friends gathered around, he could feel the burning edge of anxiety eating away at his stomach. He tried not to look at you out amongst the people watching him, tried to ignore how your eyes were glued to him. Kasamatsu glanced over to the side of the stage where Kise stood, silently encouraging him from the sidelines. He shifted the guitar in his lap, deciding to bite the bullet. He'd dedicate this song to you.
Too bad the microphone let out a piercing screech the second he grabbed it, causing him to turn red and run off stage.
Aomine: Cornering you near the bike racks on campus, Aomine had one of his easygoing, lazy grins on his face as flirt after pickup line fell from his lips. He was leaning against one of the bike rails nearby, looming over your as you fiddled with the lock on your wheel. Too bad he hadn't really been paying attention to where he was placing his feet, however, as he soon found himself tripping over the spoke of another bike, getting tangled before falling to the ground.
Aomine could feel his cheeks burn with embarrassment as he heard you ask if he was okay after his disastrous faceplant.
Midorima: He had been trying so hard to seem as if he were on par with your intellectuality; as if he were worthy of your time and attention. He'd studied all the right terms, really absorbed all pieces of information on anything you showed any semblance of interest in, and did his best to have engaging conversations with you about them. And, for the most part, it seemed to work. You liked talking with him, you were impressed with him, you—
"You're so smart, Midorima-kun. Reminds me of me at your age. You still thought of him as a child.
Himuro: The English study date was supposed to be something simple. Something lowkey that he didn't have to call a date if the vibes weren't right. But it all somehow got turned around when you started asking him to translate a romantic scene from your favorite drama. He was doing fine, speaking every flirting phrase in Japanese, voice dropped as he tried to woo you with them, but...
You snorted, trying to hold back laugher. "Sorry, Himuro, that just sounds so strange coming from you. Is that seriously how it's translated?" Okay, maybe he was being too technical with his translations.
Akashi: It was an amateur mistake. He should have paid attention to Yukimaru's appearance, should have listened to all the signs. The pale horse had been antsy, looking a bit more skittish than usual, but Akashi had ignored the warning signs in favor of keeping his eyes on you. Enthralled with your first time seeing a horse up close, you didn't know what to look for to clue into Yukimaru's discomfort, so Akashi couldn't blame you for what happened.
He just wished Yukimura remembered it was rude to kick at his owner's feet when irritated...
Remember the replace plus story about the Kaijo team’s mixer date setup by Kise? Can I request a scenario where Kasamatsu’s crush (who’s the teams manager, first year student) sees the mixer and gets jealous because she likes Kasamatsu, making her give the cold shoulder and frustrated looks to him the next day at practice?
I had an idea like this for a while haha!
Kasamatsu could feel his stomach twisting in knots as he stood outside the double doors to the gymnasium. His mind was racing, still re-playing everything that had happened the day before at the mixer. The complete embarrassment he felt, the shame that wanted to engulf him, his stupid outburst.
Red crept its way back onto his face at the thought. Kanpai! It's kanpai, you idiot!
He couldn't get too far into his own thoughts however, as a heavy hand clapped itself onto his shoulder, nearly pushing him forward into the doors. He turned to face the person sidling up beside him, brow twitching when he saw that it was Moriyama. The sour feeling in his stomach got worse.
"Hey, Kasamatsu," Moriyama sing-songed, teasing lilt to his voice. His free hand pushed at the double doors in front of them. "Let's get inside before we're late for practice." Moriyama was smart enough not to mention the day before, but the jovial tone to his voice heavily implied that he wouldn't ever let it go.
Kasamatsu could feel a snarl on his lips and he followed after Moriyama, fully intending to chew him out for even suggesting a mixer in the first place, but he was interrupted when the shooting guard called out to someone else already in the gymnasium.
"Oh, ____-chan, you got here fast. Hello!"
Kasamatsu felt the color drain from his face at the mention of your name. He stiffly followed after Moriyama as the latter ran up to your side. You looked up from your clipboard at the sound of Moriyama's voice, smile gracing your features.
Kasamatsu felt as if he were walking through honey, legs stiff as he slowly made his way over to where you and Moriyama stood together. On a good day, he could get away with talking with you about basketball, his answers short and clipped and heart beating wildly. But today, the day after that failure of a mixer, he couldn't even look at you without feeling like his heart would stop.
"Moriyama-senpai, hello!" Your greeting was bright, friendly, a sound Kasamatsu often sought out, though he'd never admit it to you or himself. "How was your outing yesterday with the team?"
"Oh, you know about that, ____-chan?" Moriyama questioned.
"Oh, yeah," you responded. "I was in the area and happened to see all of you guys out. Looked like you were having a great time."
Kasamatsu froze where he stood, mid-step and and vision shaky, eyes falling to the floor beneath him. You saw them at the mixer? You saw them with all those girls? What did you think was happening? Did you witness what he'd done? Did you hear what he said?
"Oh, you saw us?" Moriyama asked. Kasamatsu saw his teammate's lips curl into a teasing smirk and he instantly knew what was about to leave Moriyama's mouth. "Did you see Kasamatsu, too? I think he had a great time."
At the sound of his name, Kasamatsu looked up toward you and Moriyama. He was met with your slight glare and pinched frown. You held his gaze for only a second before snapping your attention back to Moriyama. "Yeah, I saw him."
Kasamatsu wanted the ground to swallow him whole.
Hiiii! I’m the anon that requested the skin allergy reactions. I was wondering if I could add a few more characters? The way you did them all the first time was very endearing 💕
If you would for Kasamatsu, Mayuzumi, Himuro, Hyuga, Takao, Hanamiya, Kotaro, Nash, and Riko (if you can 😅)
I think the post you're talking about is this one, right anon? If not, let me know which one you are actually talking about and I will rewrite this ask! Admin Neon
Hyuuga: There's a moment where he's on court and he doesn't seem to believe what he's seeing. Is your skin going a bit redder than normal? Removing his glasses, he tries to wipe away whatever might be on the lenses before he takes a better look at you, but the splotchy complexion is still there on your skin.
"Hey," he calls out to you, beckoning you toward him with a wave of his hand. When you get closer and he sees the hives beginning to spread across your arms and legs, his frown deepens and he takes on a more scolding tone. "You don't have to push yourself so hard. Go take a breather on the bench and I'll join you in a second."
Hyuuga gently shoves you in the direction of the sidelines, giving you no room to argue. While you go sit, he goes to find a cool water bottle, thinking that maybe dowsing you in something cold could help sooth your aching skin.
Riko: The shrill sound of her whistle cuts through the air and everyone on the court comes to a complete standstill, knowing that meant she wanted everyone to stop. The second the sound of squeaking sneakers cease, Riko is stomping on court in your direction, her eyes burning you with a glare.
"I told you to tell me when you start getting tired! Did you think I wouldn't notice?!" Her tone may sound angry, but you can see the worried furrow of her brows and distressed teardrops prickling at her eyes.
Riko doesn't give you time to respond as she drags you off the court herself, taking you to where she usually stood on the sidelines. The second you two pass over the court lines, she blows that shrill whistle once more and practice starts right back up without you. You're benched until further notice.
Kasamatsu: "Hey, you need to go take a break." Kasamatsu's voice sounds flat and even as he says this to you, loud enough for it to sound like a command, but quiet enough that the rest of the team can't hear.
While you go to follow his orders, he barks out a few more toward the remaining people on court before following after you. It was a captain's job to make sure his team stayed healthy, after all. And most importantly, he felt it was his job to make sure you stayed healthy too.
He's not much of a fusser, so the most he does is hand you a water bottle and keep an eye on your out of his peripherals. But if you so much as try to step back onto court before your allergies have calmed down, he will attempt to kick you right back onto the benches. Literally.
Takao: You're jogging around on court when Takao suddenly comes up beside you and throws an arm around your shoulder. At first, you think it's just supposed to be a friendly gesture, but he won't let go. Soon, he starts steering you away from the action and toward the bleachers.
"You know, I notice everything on court, right?" he asks, and there's a slight laugh at the end of his sentence. "Like you trying to pull your sleeves down to hide your allergies?"
There's a grin on his face that tells you you're caught. He won't let you get back to the game, even if you had wanted to. Instead, Takao makes sure to sit with you on the sidelines, handing you cold bottle of water after cold bottle of water, until the redness of your skin has subsided.
Himuro: He had been a little too into the game to be paying much attention to you, so by the time Himuro notices that you're struggling, you're already a bit out of breath and itchy. You were already standing on the sidelines on your own when he jogs up to you, expression downturned with worry.
"Allergies?" he asks, reaching a cold hand out to press against your burning cheek. "You should have said something sooner. We could have stopped, I could have helped."
Both you and Himuro know that there actually wasn't much he could do once your allergies flared up however. He tries not to let the guilt eat at him as he stands with you, waiting for your symptoms to calm down. He might even insist that the two of you are done for the day, even if he feels like he could still play for hours more.
Hayama: He's so into the game that somebody else actually has to stop him and point out that you've retired to the bleachers, breathing hard and scratching. Hayama instantly runs off to your side, feeling guilty for not noticing sooner. When you tell him you hadn't wanted to spoil his fun by interrupting, he seems to pout with both annoyance and worry.
"I'd rather you bother me than be sitting here alone!" Then, thinking about his words, he changes his wording. "No, it's not bothering me! I just want to make sure you're okay."
Despite Hayama saying he wants to sit with you until you get better, you can still see his leg bouncing as if he were itching himself to get back onto court. It really is a show of genuine caring from him that he would hold back to really ensure you were safe and healthy.
Mayuzumi: You were already sitting on the sidelines yourself, rubbing at your itching skin, when Mayuzumi came up and sat down on the bleachers with you. You gave him a questioning look before looking back out toward the courts where all the other players were still deep in practice.
"They won't notice me missing for a few minutes," he explained quietly. "And if they do, screw them. I'm taking care of you first before I head back out there."
He's handing you a towel dowsed in cold water, hoping it would be enough to soon your skin. There's a tense moment where someone does notice him missing, but you merely see Mayuzumi give a soft smirk in the team's direction before he looks back over to you.
Hanamiya: "Hey." That's the only warning you get as you look up just in time for Hanamiya to throw a basketball in your direction. It catches you off guard and you miss catching it, the ball hitting you in the side before rolling away. The bump against you has your skin burning and you palm at it to try relieve the itch.
You can hear Hanamiya click his tongue in annoyance as he picks up the basketball. "Go take a break if you need one," he says. His tone sounds harsh, but you know if it had been anyone else, he would have told them to simply suck it up.
Hanamiya joins you on the sidelines a few minutes later and, though he doesn't say much — in fact, he doesn't seem to look at you at all — he always makes sure there's a cold bottle of water nearby at all times.
Nash: You had paused in the middle of a run to scratch at your arm, the sensation had been too strong to ignore. It didn't go unnoticed by anyone on court however and you soon found yourself being directed over to the sidelines.
"You're not gunna be of any use during this practice if you're pausing every ten steps to scratch." Despite the harshness of the words, the fact that Nash wasn't just barking them out proved that he had more care for your wellbeing than initially thought. "Just sit by and relax for a minute, will ya?"
He's not one for babysitting, so he doesn't stick around to actually make sure your allergies go away, but ever so often as he plays you can see his gaze travel back over toward you, always making sure you weren't getting worse at least.
