As for your question, I honestly do not know.

Maybe? I don’t know...I am definitely the wrong person to ask. I would like to remind you that this is a Kalafina blog, I am first and foremost a fan of Wakana, Keiko and Hikaru. Yes, I do post a considerable amount of Yuki Kajiura and FictionJunction content but ONLY if it involves one of my girls.

I am not overly familiar with Kaori as a vocalist outside of what I have seen and heard at the Yuki Kajiura Lives (the same applies to all the other singers Yuki uses on stage). And even there I usually don’t pay too much attention to her unless I am a big fan of the song (e.g. “Sweet Song”). I don’t know ANYTHING about Emily Bindiger and I have never properly listened to her renditions of YK’s songs.

I know I have mentioned a couple of times that I think Joelle’s voice sounds kinda similar to Emily’s and maybe that has led you to believe that I am somehow knowledgeable in that regard but honestly, I am NOT. I was really in no position to make such an assessment. I probably just got a similar vibe from them because they are both native English speakers and seem to enunciate the lyrics in a similar manner.

For what it’s worth, I do believe that Joelle sounds more like Emily than Kaori does (at least in the songs that were originally sung by Emily) but really, my opinion in the matter isn’t worth jack-shit XD.
