If decided to start writing my blogs in english. I'm getting to know more and more people and some are interested in my stories from the road. So Excuse me for my grammar, spelling and other mistakes but here it goes.

Having said that. Thursday 16th of may, have been travelling for 1 month! Since i've been on 2 continents, in 4 countries, crossed 4 borders, sat in 4 busses, sat in 8 trains, visited 10 citys and i'm only on 1/3 of my trip. I'm excited! Part of these experiences are because I just say "yes". Off course, people who know me will know that for me it's impossible not to think about a decision. But I don't over-think. I see them as opportunities which I probably won't get asked twice. That's also the reason why I only stayed for 1 day in Sofia. I arrived in Sofia, checked in the hostel, walked through the city, had dinner at the hostel, played a little guitar, went on the pub crawl and met some nice people.

Like an Amanda, an American Peace Corps voluntaire, who lives in Karnobat and works there as an school psychologist. She wants me to see more than just the city and she wants company for the 5 hour train ride. I hesitate, because it is kinda out of the direction I want to go. But what the hell, it's not that often that you get an offer to see a smaller city with someone who knows the place and speaks bulgarian.  And so I ended up in Karnobat, a city of around 20 000 people. I stayed here for 3 nights. We went one day to Burgaz, at the sea sight. And we made Moussaka at home, an balkan dish with potato. It's really interesting to be in such a small city. It's a whole different scene then Sofia. There is a lot more poverty. And the weird thing is that the EU subsidies a lot of money to these city and they redo the main square and boulevard, but once you get of the main square the roads are more or less holes, which helps with speeding, but does feel a bit strange when you just left a square with dozens of new benches. After the 3 nights I go back in the direction of Sofia with an extra stop in Plovdiv. A city listed among the oldest in the world. I'm staying here for probably 2 nights and then head for Sofia and Skopje
