While it will be snowing in Wyoming, severe weather will return to the eastern Plains tomorrow. Storms that develop along the cold front may contain damaging winds and large hail. A tornado threat will exist from northeast Kansas into central Iowa in the afternoon.

🌳🌳🌳 We’ll, this is the end of this story. The saddest thing about losing this tree is that it was a nesting site for squirrels. They have decided to nest 🪹 under the eaves and for now that’s okay. We won’t be able to lie in bed and watch the babies venture out for the first time or their antics as they play chase and make impossible leaps to their trees, but we are grateful. This could have been so much worse and we lucked out with just a few shingles out of place and a bent gutter. The stump is actually with the toadstools is actually making me very happy. Eager to sit with it and decide it’s new function in our yard. And our neighbors have to be breathing a sigh of relief. Exactly one year ago we drove 21 hours across the states to visit the Midwest.
