I haven't even finished this blog yet (and it's been like a year aHAHAHAHA,,) but I think I NEED "oops" oh my god
Oops: I will write our characters getting into some trouble.
“Oops,” Alpha stated flatly, glaring straight ahead from where he crouched rather uncomfortably behind a bookcase. This is not what he’d expected to be doing at the library today, if he were being frank.
“Oops is all you have to say after that? No wonder we nearly got beaten to death with books! Whatever parts of your speech that haven’t been taken over by that romantic drivel are just plain terrible!”
The boy who’s speech was being so questioned stood against the shelf Alpha hid behind, peering around the corner nervously, no doubt looking for the horde of girls (okay that might be stretching it, there’d been three at the most. There’d just been…so many books,,,) that had been chasing them. Said boy went by the name Jiwoo. He was a classmate of his he’d never bothered to interact with, until they’d been paired up as partners for a project recently. Jiwoo turned for a moment to give Alpha an angry, flustered look, quite ready to, loudly, give him a piece of his mind. But evidently he thought better of giving their hiding spot away in a silent library and turned away with a scowl.
Things had been going fairly well, surprisingly enough, before this. Sure, Jiwoo’s ‘holier-than-thou-peasants’ attitude had ticked him off at first, and sure, his own temper fueled snark had annoyed the other in turn. But once they’d gotten past that, they’d found they had more in common than he’d first thought. But of course, since when had Alpha making friends ever been easy? Of course something would go wrong.
And that something had come in the form of…what exactly? Jiwoo’s attempt at flirting? Impressing? Or more accurately insulting some girls? He wasn’t really sure. They’d come to the library to do some research for their project. Alpha had gone to buy them some coffee and upon returning had seen Jiwoo standing before the girls, one of those romantic novels he so liked for some strange reason in hand, and a smug smirk on his face as he addressed them. Alpha hadn’t managed to catch any of what he’d said, but he knew by the looks on the girls’ faces that they hadn’t taken kindly to it. And evidently his very articulate response of ‘Wha?’ at the girls’ suddenly turning to drag him into their discussion had not gone over well with them either. Which had led to a surprising amount of book related violence as the group made their frustrations clearly known. Hence their situation at present.
Alpha sighed, wiggling out of his hiding spot to stand beside Jiwoo. Their pursuers had to have given up by now, surely? They’d been dodging around for like half an hour already. He fixed the Jiwoo with a withering look.
“All right, mister ‘I’m totally going to show you how to romance a girl’.” (No, he had not, repeat NOT, asked Jiwoo for advice about romancing a certain red-eyed blonde. He hadn’t had to…Jiwoo had guessed. Damn it.) “In return, I’m going to teach you how to have a proper conversation that doesn’t involve a scene from a drama. And maybe a couple of social cues to boot. Then maybe we can avoid another situation like this in the future.”
Hopefully.
