Iridescent, Part 2 🦪

This one took me a minute to think about. Thank you for this!

Kanin doesn't hate doing any chore. If it's one she's never thought about or knew she had to do, Titus usually tells her how important it is and he smart so she feels helpful by doing something important.

Titus knows every chore has it's purpose. With that said, he hates cooking, mostly because he's horrible at it and food either gets burnt or horribly undercooked. And a pan or pot holder gets burnt. So he usually tries to get others to do it instead, joking that'll he'll make them ill or worse.

Hvid loathes doing dishes and laundry. To the point where she will eat a steak like one eats a burger, both hands and just bites into it. She often steals clean dishes from places that have them for when she does need them. This changes slightly when Dom enters her life, cause he finds dishes easy and doesn't mind doing them so they have clean ones when he needs them. Hvid won't do laundry until her clothes are so bad that Flappy Face Buford starts to walk a few steps further from her. She'll then just throw the offending clothes into a pond or river and beat the stink out of them with a stick. Again, this changes when Dom comes into her life, he's happy to do something so simple to help.

20. Which sense is the most important to your character?

Kanin is extremely tactile so I'd have to say touch. She's like a raccoon. Hands into everything. I don't think she could get by without.

22. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much does your character's past haunt them?

Really made me think on a couple of these to narrow it down to one thing, lol. Thank you for this!

3. Is your character obsessed with anything?

Kanin is simple and is obsessed with those souvenir magnets, she collects every one she sees and has been known to pay more than they're worth from vendors. And Gage's butt. It's always on her mind and in her sight.

6. If your character could erase one thing from the world, what would it be?

Loneliness.

9. If your character had to name a cat right now, what would it be?

Wiggles McSquiggles.

12. What's the easiest way to entertain your character?

Blow something up. It's that easy. She'll even offer you some of her stash to see more stuff get blown up.

15. If your character had to get a (new) tattoo right now, what would it be?

A small silhouette of a bunny.

18. When your character has nightmares, which emotion is the most present?

Loneliness is the quick answer. It's usually tagged along with rejection and abandonment. There's fear in there too, but that's too blanketed imo.

21. Who does your character think about when they want to feel safe?

She's got 3 instant go tos for this one. I'm no particular order, Titus (Boss Bear), Porter Gage, and Kisses. They all make her feel safer. And usually make whatever is causing that unsafe feeling to go away.

24. Does your character follow any routines?

oOoOO! Thank you for the ask Voxel. This took a bit to think about for others, Kanin was the only one I knew off the bat.

Kanin plays both board and card games. Not correctly, but that's okay. She likes blast radius less since Titus explained to her you weren't supposed to actually blow up the game at the end. But she always thought you were supposed to see how far you could get the meeples to go, furthest won. I think her favorite game is strip poker, because she always "wins" because of their house rules (which she thinks is actual rules, but no, there is no designated person who puts on the loser hands clothing, but she is always said designated person). And cause Titus cheats, Gage is usually the one with the least clothing, so double win for her. Kanin absolutely loves games because she feels included and gets to have fun with those she likes being around. She's not the biggest fan of chess though, Kisses always beats her at it.

Hvid has never bothered to play any card or board games as far back as she can remember. Her partner Dom is a good card player and when they eventually have children, he teaches them. But Hvid has many other things she'd rather devote her attention to. I think she would not be the most graceful at losing too many times, but she'd absolutely give you a run for your money, and yes, betting would be an absolute thing.

Toast loves any game, especially if he can make it a dirty game. I honestly don't think he's ever finished any board or card game he's ever played. Distractions pop up every time.

Sorry this took a bit to answer. But thank you! I'll answer for both Kanin and Titus since this one involves both of them.

There is one that comes to mind that's a serious part, most of the ones I could think of were still very silly and not a huge part. But there was a running joke with an acquaintance that because Kanin doesn't really understand sexual innuendos or even most of anything really, and how kind of possessive and prideful Gage could be, and how Overboss Titus is a bit oblivious but respectful, that Gage spread rumors around the parks about antics that went on up in fizztop to give the impression that the Overboss not only took Gage as a boyfriend but kept Kanin on the side for fun basically. A kinda way to keep her safe in short.

So example is one of the vague rumors Gage started about how Boss sometimes throws Kanin in bed and they're at it until he gets exhausted. He'll make it sound as dirty as he can with as little info as possible.

When Kanin hears this rumor she usually will giggle and confirm it (though as far as she's aware they're just asking about bouncing on the bed) and add little comments about how far he literally throws her in the bed or by the time they're done all the pillows will be on the floor or how she got tangled in the sheets once. Because she's remembering when the Overboss will literally throw her into the bed and she's a giggling mess, jumps up and asks him to do it again, and he'll keep tossing her into the bed until one of them tires out because she's having fun and he wants his family happy.

Meanwhile the Overboss is just happy he could give her a moment of childish fun. And everyone else has their minds in the gutter trying to figure out how this giant beast of a man hasn't broken the tiny ball of chaos that's Kanin.

But it keeps her out of certain kinds of trouble because who would want to chance messing with one of the Boss man's toys when they've seen him punch a man in power armor bare fist for no clear reason (there was, it just wasn't easy to hear).
