The Come Up
The Anniversary Banners are always so kind to me. I love them! FGO is running their Ninth Anniversary event and you can make a run a bevy of Five-Star Servant. You have a Ten-Pull that you can choose, and several Guaranteed Five-Stars to choose from. The last time we had something like this, i popped my last Mordred. it was bittersweet because i wanted that Shirou/Muramasa, but that pull helped me complete my darling Mo-chan. She's perfect. I missed out on Muramasa, again, this time around BUT i did pop Nitocris Alter!
I've wanted Nitocris Alter since she was released on the Japanese server. Ma is just to dope! All of her form are peak design and i adore that Nobel Phantasm so goddamn much! Anubis is my favorite Egyptian god so, obviously, i all about that sh*t. Plus, it's devastating! More to the point, she was number four on my new Grind list. So far, i popped my number two, Asec, and Nito Alter, my number seven. I was good after getting her, ya boy ain't greedy, but i figured I'd make another run at Muramasa. He shared his banner with Rasputin and Koyanskya so i felt pretty good about popping a Servant i wanted. not THE Servant i wanted.
Once again, i crapped the bed when it came to Muramasa. However, the Gacha Gods felt pity and dropped a Rasputin in my lap! That's right, i popped grail-tainted Kotomine! Mans is number f*cking four on my list! Not out two of my top ten, with forty-five Quartz! Quarts i already had in hand and didn't even effect my stockpile at all! I dropped forty bucks for these twp Pulls, which is rare for me, and popped a fifth of my grind list! That makes four of the ten and i was feeling pretty good. Maybe a little cocky. Just a little. Which is why when i noticed there was a Kama Banner, i figured, what the f*ck? I love a Sakuraface and i already have Parvati and Durga. Why not?
Yeah, one pull and she was mine! Literally my first Ten-Pull, thirty f*cking Quartz, and i popped Kama! Like, i cashed the f*ck out on these Banners, man! I don't really even need another Assassin, I'm good with the ones i have, but why the f*ck not? Gotta complete the set, right? And Kama is gorgeous! Bonus Five-Star, indeed! I also popped a Tristan and Saito Hajime running these Banners but, you know, Four-Stars. I'll probably never use em but welcome to the Roster, i guess? Still, Tirstan adds to the Camelot set, matching the Baobhan Sith I already have. The Assassin one, not the Swimsuit one. And I think Hajime completes the Shinsengumi set. The ones released so far. I think. I'll have to double check. All in all, i feel pretty good about my run. Halfway to my grind goal and a bonus Sakuraface to boot. Solid haul!
