So since ATLA leaked lol I watched it
Man it was pretty good! I never watched either ATLA or LOK when it originally came out as a kid, but watched it as a teen and young adult and it’s still one of my favs.
But Kallik? Come on right from the get go she’s awesome. And she has some sort of redemption arc so I imagine she could have a part in the series?

new avatar movie was ~3/5 stars (I have substantial criticisms but enjoyable overall; good to be back in the world) but this girl is 10/5 stars and I think I love her
finally got to watch the new avatar movie.
there was this whole importance around this side character named Kalliak. at first i thought the show runners were going for a jealous Katara thing. that didn’t happen but it did seem like Kalliak had a thing for Aang.
nothing really happens with her at the end.
i wish they did a nice tie in to show why she was so important. and why she appeared to be so connected to Aang and airbendering other then having this small redemption.
i wish at the end she was either talking with Katara or listening as the girls talked. hinting at Katara being pregnant and the girls were talking about baby names.
Kalliak could shyly admit she ‘hopes to have a girl and named her Pema. after her mother.’
for anyone who doesn’t clock on. Pema is Tenzin’s wife and the mother to the new cycle of airbenders. Aang’s grandchildren. if at the end Kalliak was revealed to be Pema’s mother then it would add more weight and importance to her connection with airbending and Aang. because if she died, then Pema wouldn’t have been born and the new cycle of air bending wouldn’t have happened
What if....
