The problem with feminism nowadays is that the girlies go gaga for performative feminism where titles and being perceived are given more importance than the actual treatment of being a man's equal.

Feyre doesn't know anything about ruling, and doesn't do anything with her prized title.

In a TikTok video, I saw people complaining that Kallias didn't give Viviane the title of High Lady. That he didn't recognize his wife as such, and that it's pointless to blame Rhy gave the title to Feyre.

I was agreeing until I remembered it was Kallias, He probably thought that only earth magic could do that (just assumptions, of course). It's strange to see people throwing hate/complaining at this character, not because it bothers me, but because they barely appear, and the story we have makes it clear that he sees her as an equal and cares about her. And for those who have read CC, you know that you can choose not to be a High Lady, but you automatically become one when you marry the Fae chosen by the land.I haven't read CC, so I don't know if there's an explanation for why, in the "new generation," the title they consider official is "Lady". Viviane is already a High Lady, she just needs to change her title. And she can do it herself, she doesn't need to wait for Kallias to do it for her.

I honestly think Sarah just didn't want to spoil Rhys's "progressive feminist" vibe.

Question: Does this mean that Kallias doesn't see Viviane as an equal, doesn't recognize her strength, political power, and influence? Based on the comments I saw on TikTok, yes, he doesn't see it, since he wasn't given that title before.
