Fantastic Four Legends: Gladiator
Kallark first appeared in 1977 as a soldier serving under the Shi'ar Empire with special powers that increase in strength only in connection with his level of confidence and devotion to the cause he is serving. His personal strength of will made him the top enforcer to the royal family. As the Shi'ar are mostly tied to the X-Men, he doesn't crossover with the Four much, but it does happen, especially when fighting Kree or Skrulls.
In an adaptation, I think Kallark is a natural inclusion in any given movie featuring the Shi'ar or the Starjammers or anyone connected to that end of the universe, probably starting as a henchmen at first, fighting for D'Ken, before becoming an ally of the X-Men instead. As for casting, Michael Ealy would be a strong option.

i’m about 70% sure that the Shi’ar royal guard are based on the Legion of Superheroes. Gladiator is a derivative of Superman, his real name is Kallark, little on the noise, and he leads a large group of superpowered people with a wolfman and a lightning power guy and others.
