Kalinka specializing in Fairy types seems obvious, but also I can see Grass type? And actually Bug type makes sense too, and it’d be fun if the girliest character specialized in Bug types haha
Sandshrew for Punk, who specializes in Ground, Fighting, maybe Rock types?
Quint has all the sciency (?) Pokemon, so like the cloned fossil pokemon (I wanted to draw an Omanyte flexing in triumph while Quint does science haha), maybe a Porygon who likes to wander into Quint’s badly drawn 90s computer, and probably a very confused Areodactyl that was once the terror of the skies and now lives with this nerd. If Quint did specialize, I could see Psychic types?

For Roll’s middle name, I headcanon that Dr. Light would play Fur Elise more often when Roll was around because he saw it as having a special connection to Roll and he wanted Roll to feel that connection, too. But to her it’s just more of Dr. Light’s boring classical music, and feeling like it’s being force onto her doesn’t do the song any favors.
On a lighter note, who do you think would enjoy metal covers of classical music more, Roll or Dr. Light?

Poor Dr. Light and his misguided attempts to connect with his children :D Meanwhile I think Roll would be more likely to like metal covers of classic music in her own misguided attempt to connect back with her Dad ( "See? See Dad? They improved it!" / "...You can't improve a masterpiece 😔")
Having Roll named after a specific music piece sorta parallels Kalinka's name as well, which is pretty cool (Tho tangent: thinking this through specific to Recut canon, Fur Elise is used as a loose metaphor (or whatever) for Proto and Dr. Light’s relationship, so of all the Light siblings Proto probably would be most likely get a Beethoven middle name treatment (Proto Ludvig Light haha would he hate that as much or more than Proto Thomas Light? but not sure if there are any other Beethoven themed options!))
