While everyone is busy simplifying their logos, estonia is busy making everything orange.
The Tartu (Estonias second largest town) logo:
The new one has nothing to do with tartu. There are none of our iconic buildings referenced, not even the river that flows through it. Everything starts making a little more sense once you realize a person from Tallinn designed it.
On the topic of Tartu, Tartu smart bike logo:
I don't use it much, so I don’t really care, but the old one looked at least a bit more interesting. Now it's just a capital T.
Kalev chocolates:
What they did do my girl Anneke is unforgivable. It simply looks ugly. Why orange? It's the hardest colour to pull off.
This isn't even the worst change (because how little orange it has) but it's still so ugly because orange and brown DO NOT go together.
At least they didn't change the ones based on Estonian mythology:
