So since I’m 90% sure Kiawe is only like canon sixteen in the series (if that) I’ll be keeping this strictly SFW and more or less on the platonic end with maybe slight hints of pining. ENJOY!

It wasn’t a crazy concept to be invited with Kiawe for one of his daily hikes around the mountain.

It was still nice being able to spend time with your close friend, despite the sweltering heat. It made sense that he never wore a shirt judging by how this was the climate he seemed the thrive in.

You always ended up having to try and wear as little as possible while still keeping decent just so you wouldn’t die, and brining a water type pokemon on your hikes was a must have.

Kiawe always made fun of how lightweight you were with the hear, despite being on a damn volcano.

On a few occasions you threatened to find some lava and dumb his ass in there since he was just so amazing with hot stuff.

This always got a crack out of him as he joked he’d be totally fine if you did that because ‘He was raised in flames’.

You normally just called him a dork.

Sometimes he did take pity on you though and would drag you back to the base of the mountain to hang out, instead of going to the core where it was always hottest.

Once or twice you managed to get him to explore Lana’s trial section which he always complained was too ‘damp’ for his liking.

Still, he never complained when you jumped headfirst into the lake and forced him to join.

Trial Captains! Fun Fact: I couldn’t fit Kaiwe’s head AND his hair into 128 pixels, so I chose to let his hair ascend into the void instead. Also, how has no one questioned Kaiwe’s shoulder hair before?
