Figure-rise Amplified EmperorGreymon/KaiserGreymon
...Yeah, they're doing MagnaGarurumon, and they're gonna combine into Susanoomon. Not even just Susanoomon, but their giant sword as well. There are so many small things that give it away, like the polycaps randomly under the shoulder pads, the reitcle on the back of the front skirt, the sword guards, etc. So we know what the next Amplified kit is going to be, even if they haven't shown it off yet. Also, if they're doing a combining one it means they'll probably do that if they ever get around to Shoutmon.
The Good: Big, beefy boi. The arms have a lot of posability to accommodate that sword, big feet make them easy to balance, and the build itself was a lot of fun. It's a lot of putting red parts on top of gold, but there's a lot of really cool pop outs with the swirls, and seeing how they might plan to mix the parts together for the combination.
The Bad: There are a lot of colliding parts around the ankles that make them not immovable, but extremely stiff. The hips are also a little hard to work with, meaning that while they can pose well above the waist, below leaves a bit to be desired. Luckily those legs get replaced when combined.
The Details: So I finished the head and started working on the torso before I realized I had forgotten to de metallic red panel lining like I usually do. Since this is a combining kit, it's probably for the best that I went with something more standard and easily fixable.
I replaced every sticker besides the silver ones inside the back wings. This means I painted the eyes, the red parts on the chin of the shoulder pads, the backs of the hands, the buckle and skirt, some gold on the thighs, and a lot of metallic green. I did somehow misplace the bubble stickers that were meant to be used on the sword, so I had to paint that metallic blue instead.
Overall, even if you decide not to get MagnaGarurumon, this is still a good kit in its own right. It's probably not everyone's favorite Greymon variant, but they did a great job making it one of the better model kits of one.
