How different kinds of fate can be intertwined with one another - coincidentally ( or not ? ) - to lead to a meeting unexpected and so unforeseen. Laughable to assume this - but for the role he played it was quite an entertaining string of events, tugged along by puppeteer’s hands, to have that little doll dance in his grasp.
Meeting that young prince was easily done. Leaving Ecbatana nothing that truly would require more than a few well-placed words. Out for a little expedition does he find himself right now. Gathering some information is what had been requested to ‘permit’ for the one that needed no authority at all. For power and jurisdiction, truly it all falls to him in this time and day, all comes back together and be tangled into Gordian’s knot.
An entanglement perfectly lead - to now find himself relaxedly sitting in the middle of a little town, waiting for that passing convoy to reach his place. The advisor would be quick to call out, getting any and all attention from that young noble boy ( how beautifully had he not grown ? perchance he would be quite such a suitable ruler --- ).

This one was no exception to such a rule. In fact, one might consider it the acme of that particular trait. For this market situated itself in the center of the incredible capitol of a remarkable empire, one boasting a singular amalgam of cultures and knowledge and information. It was the market in Ecbatana, royal city of the kingdom of Pars. A continent’s worth of trade flowed through it.
For a collector of knowledge and curator of rarities, no more delightful a location existed. And so it was that Merlin spared no effort or expense in arranging her pilgrimage to this place.
