Here’s the number of Coronavirus tests performed daily in select few countries and how much is it “per capita”.

It might worry a lot of you that US of A only performs 5 tests for every 1 million of people every day.

But you know what... I WISH my country was at this level.

Because... And stay the fuck with me here.

Yesterday (31.03) in Poland a grand total of 4 800 tests were performed.

The population of Poland is just a bit under 38 million people.

This gives us a grand total of 1.263 tests per million of people. Only one fourth of what is done in the US of A.

Just to be clear - not for the lack of reasons to test more - we have very rigorous set of conditions that need to be met to get tested which lead to situations where people die before testing is performed (and they are not counted towards our death toll total because our government didn’t allow the use of U07.2 code defined by the WHO).
