I am so excited for all the new Star Wars content that will be coming out. Normal people would be painting Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, a droid or heck even an ewok. Not me, I give you those trusty steeds from Phantom Menace, a Kaadu! This may be an unpopular opinion but I liked the prequels. We can debate story but when it comes to character, costume,vehicle and creature designs it has some of the best. Not to mention it introduced me to some of my favorite artists! Which series are you most excited for? I’m ready for Obi-Wan and Ahsoka.
Say you had a choice between these 3 mounts. Which do you choose? Team Varactyl here, although I'm not a huge fan of reptiles.
Kaadu were amphibious reptavians native to Naboo and found on its moons. As they were quick and easily domesticated, Gungans often used kaadu as mounts for combat and transportation. They were fearless creatures, and often formed strong bonds with their riders.

Some critters I doodled up super quick last month for @n7-paleontologist‘s Star Wars popup museum!
From left to right, top to bottom: Tauntaun, Sando Aqua Monster, Eopi, Kaadu, Tusk Cat, Bantha, Vulptex, Krayt Dragon, Wampa.
@nekonotaishou drew the Tusk Cat and provided the base sketch for the Vulptex. (I still colored.)
