You have a crown, though you know not of it yet. Do you think that we, who swim in so many waters—even between the stars—are conjured to a single instant? We have seen what you will become, and what you have been.

thinking about how the aeneid is about the pain of having to outlive your loved ones
dido couldn’t die with sychaeus. anna couldn’t die with dido. evander couldn’t die with pallas. juturna and daunus couldn’t die with turnus. lavinia couldn’t die with amata. and aeneas couldn’t die with the family he left behind in troy or anchises or pallas or dido
The Odalisque of Abaia

Hello, how are you? I'm playing Golden Rose, almost finished, and so far it's the best IF with the best protagonist I've ever read. So first of all, congratulations and thank you very much for making such a great work (looking forward to book 2). Secondly, in the market, I threw Juturna's coin into the fountain, telling her to heed me. I'd like to know if this choice will have more impact in the future or if carrying the coin carries more weight, because depending on the situation, I might make a new save carrying the coin to play in book 2, since I'm quite interested in the goddess.
What's a God without believers?
Juturna is a forgotten, feeble goddess, hanging on by a thin thread to the earthly plane. If you toss her coin to the bottom of a well, how is it any different from the statue buried underneath ancient ruins? In eternal darkness, forgotten and erased from History.
She has no power to grant you, and no tether to hang on to.
What do you think will happen?
