The man enters his life, essentially blackmails him, gets him caught up in a gun fight, he reveals his deepest trauma which ignites his drinking problems even further and then Arthur goes on to use that as ammo to essentially emotionally manipulate him into the situation that causes him to HAVE TO CHOP HIS FUCKING ARM OFF
To top it all off, he gets dumped at the hospital and Arthur doesnât even go to check up on him??? Arthur never visits, never seeks him out afterwards (granted Arthur gets booted off to frengland but from Oscarâs perspective Arthur just up and vanishes after cutting off his arm) and doesnât even read the letter he writes?????? What fucking fond memories Oscar????? And what fucking part of that story made Daniel go âhmm yes my son in law is a good manâ WHAT
