Hey all, I don’t normally do this but I participated in an art trade over at the My Tumblr Bookstore community and made a sketch of @meharker’s debut novel “Just One Command” for the main character Casey! I’m not really an artist and this was a rough sketch I made when I had a spare 30 minutes but I was very excited to share this and the progress I made with it! Definitely I’ll finish eventually with a better pencil but this is what I have so far!
Since @meharker had the presence of mind to make cute cube bots part of Just One Command, I decided they should dress up as the crew in her sci-fi novel, possibly with the help of someone who shall not be named.
I can't draw my OCs, but I can kind of draw squares with props!

I've been making a friend-shaped cleaning cube
it's my first time trying to 3D model.
some mistakes happened along the way.
for the record: he is not supposed to look like swiss cheese
the cape's fabric simulation didn't exactly go as planned
